KZ650 Poll

I always liked the Wookie made bikes. Everyone of Gris's bikes had engine covers that were polished to perfection. Big Red, Little Red, and this bike. If it was shiney when it was new, it was shiny now. I know the amount of work that takes to accomplish. I wish more KZ owners were willing to do the same thing.

Haha, I got one too, 77 b1, just upgraded a lot of stuff, painted her again, should have pics up this weekend if I can find time to wax/buff the clearcoat.

I have a 77 C1. Bought new in July of 1977. Its the blue one.

Ok, thread re-named (for this post at least)

Waiting for some people to show up to look (and hopefully buy) my 750 twin and some metalworking machinery I'm selling so I can dump some big bucks into my 750E project. Need to send some parts and $$$ to APE, and some $$$ to MegaCycle and Z1, and still need a wideband O2 controller and sensor, and to ship the head to Larry Cavanaugh for port work. I'm shooting for 100 rwhp, and I figure it's going to cost me ~$3k-$4k to get there. Would have been cheaper to buy a GSXR motor to put in it, but anyone can do that

i got two, a 77 b and a 79 sr. they are both stock, and both broken. once i get that 77 running though i am gonna be a bat outta hell

I've got two of them. Both 1980 LTD's.

My first bike was a 1978 kz650 bought back in 80. I think it may have been a it faster than my 1980 LTDs. I lived in Alaska from 84 to 95 and didn't do any riding up there. Moved to TN and started buying bikes. Got a little hooked on e-bay but had a hard time resisting a bargain so now I have 4 bikes. All kz. Still looking for the right 1100 spectre, but love my 650's and 750s.
