I find the stock seat very low.
The foot pegs are awefully close.
I haven't had a chance to ride her much yet, only two test rides.
I did find a GPz1100 seat for sale I bought.
It's a direct fit.
And not cut down as low.
Will also allow me to move forward or back if desired.
I will need to test both seats come Spring.

Nice find on the seat. It appears you scored a 1981 GPz1100 B1 seat, which are harder to locate than the 1982 GPz1100 B2 seat...the seat patterns are different.

I found a new old stock Kerker exhaust system on FaceBook.
Jay from California posted it up for sale, and I spotted it moments later.
Made a deal, and here it is in Canada.
It will need to be removed to do an oil and filter change, which is a pain.

Coming along Nicely Rob!! Nice find on the Kerker too. Question please. Any unexpected expenditures in shipping that pipe from the US to Canada? Have a fella slated to ship a set of engine cases from Kansas to Ontario. I know additional fees are assessed when shipping from Canada to the US but don't know how it would work routing the other way around? Thanks' Rob!

I'm not sure which baffle is in it.
It's not very large in diameter.
The label mentions Racing System, and I've been told the street pipe you can remove the oil and filter.
This one I cannot.
I had to pay fees for it coming into Canada, over $100.
I installed the battery today, and checked for spark at the plugs.
Have new coils, wires and connections in the circuit, so wanted to comfirm having spark at all 4.
Good to go.
So with spark confirmed, the gas tank can go back on, and be hooked up.
Now I just need some gas, and better weather, to get her outside...

As I recall, Kerker sold three baffles for the megaphone muffler. They were identified by the size of the opening, 1 1/2, 2, and 2 1/2 inches. They ranged from noticeably louder than stock to barely quieter than an open pipe. Looks like you got the quieter one. Should be nice.
