The gas tanks, the original and a spare GPz tank, are at a buddies place.
Getting the petcock added to the right side, looking from the bottom, and the other holes closed up.

Would anyone by chance have the GPz fuel level sensor? The round mount type?

I have spare body work.
They, along with the GPz gas tank, will be getting painted green, and the stripes painted on.
The original body work will stay original. there are lots of paint chips and scratches on the original tank, and the fairing and side covers show wear.
Also one tab on one side cover is broken, and has been repaired already.
It's now getting cracked again, separating each time I try to pull it off the new rubber grommets.

You can reinforce the cracks with epoxy (I believe the original panels are ABS) and hot rivets - the crack won't open again. I used these extensively in the body mods on my project

Thanks for the tip.
I will look into that.

I already have the extra panels, so they're getting painted.
Good solid tabs on the GPz side covers.

Here's the broken tab.
It's already been repaired, posibly twice?
Just wasn't sure what would hold considering the current repairs:

The suggested method should work on that Rob, the rivets act like "re-bar" in concrete

I repaired one of mine by putting a bunch of Zspar marine epoxy behind it, it can be molded when wet. Its expensive stuff, my porting guy uses it to fill in intake ports on cylinder heads but its main use is to patch boat hulls that are in the water.

This one was sheared right off so had to Bondo the front to fill in the cracks. Its ugly but it works, been riding with it since 2017.

You could also try ABS welding, it looks like it could use a support rib to bridge the pin to the shell.

The flexing is why they break, not a robust design is what they would say in Engineering school :)

It's crazy that China isn't making an entire set of ELR plastic for like $65 by now.

The bodywork is off to the painter.
He is also going to restore the original tank, keeping the original paint, touching it up and clearing over.

I recieved some decals for the front forks.
I think this model needs something on the forks.

I don't think so, but you never know.
I thought I would ride her mostly to the local bike meets, and for longer rides use something else.
Paris is 2+ hours there, and then back, so a good 5 hours of riding.
I will need to feel confident in her, and she needs to be a comfortable ride for that length of time.
She also doesn't have any storage space.

The bottom of the GPz gas tank got painted too:

As did the backsides of the side covers.
There is a white wax dust on the pieces still:

GPz fairing on, and tank:
