In 2010 I had to go to the hospital. My blood count was at 3 when 13 or 14  was normal. The Doc said I was dead but didn't know it yet. They scoped me from both ends. Found a bleeder in the upper tract and three polyps in the lower. They zapped them all. 7 transfusions later I was good to go. Went on patrol the next weekend and walked a mile to see where the shooting was coming from in a huge wash, (target practice) walked back and realized I walked two miles. Before I had buckets every 50" to sit on when feeding the dogs. Worst part of the whole thing was the water they made me drink. When all this madness is done I'll have to get another one. I'm past due.

Just like mammograms and pap smears, us men have to do our due diligence on our health maintenance in our later years.  Don't ignore your health, guys.  Well, only if you want to live longer!

So after last Sunday's arse kicking I have made some headway today (brake job on the wife's car yesterday) it look's like you can indeed fit 10lbs of s¥*t into a 5lb bag. breather catch tank, elec boxes, starter solenoid and RR all mounted. I have used rubber mounts as relays and electronics don't like vibration (it cracks soldered joints) Really happy with progress so far, six weeks in and next spring still looks realistic for completion

Shock is GSXR1000K, I am using 600K swingarm and linkage so decided to go all "K" as it was made to work together. I went for the 1000 shock as the swingarm is longer so hopefully being on the shorter 600 swingarm with less leverage should help compensate for the additional sprung wheight of the KZ

And so here endeth another day of procrastinating, filing, sawing, grinding, drilling and welding   I find this stuff heavy going as I'm no fabricator (I'm too cheap to pay somebody else to do it) but it needs doing and the fun stuff should be just around the corner. Have re done the rear fuse box mounts as I didn't like the first attempt, finished the mounts for the left inner side panel, fitted a rail to carry the wiring harness, made the right inner side panel (this was a PITA as it had to go round the catch tank mount) and finished the mounts for that side too ( don't worry about the welding, I will go over everything and finish weld the tacks when it is stripped down to a bare frame)
