Hang in there Gazzz, the tide is turning, you have got your family to safety but keep your self safe too, you and you country are doing your selves proud. The whole world is seeing that a brave nation like the Ukraine can fend off a super power when it is their homes they are protecting, i very much doubt the Ireland would have the spine to do that anymore. Go Ukraine!

Thank you!
No one knows when and to what end this war will come. So my people will try to register in Germany (it was said by authorities that they could get such registration for one year), get a work permit and try to do their best to not to be a burden. My son is German speaking since his dearest ambition was to get education in Germany or Austria. My little motorcycle business here went out for sure at least until the end of war. And it seems the same will be with my IT job. With money put in projects I will not be able to supply my people with incomes. Hope they will find a way to integrate in Germany and find jobs. At any rate it's better than hearing explosions every other day and waiting for shelling or missiles.
As for me personally, I have no fear for my own life. I have been riding motorcycles for around 24 years in a country populated by reckless drivers and lazy traffic cops, so I already could be dead on a number of occasions. I already volunteered to the army and territorial defense forces, but they told me they do not need my service at the moment. Having skills with hardware, software as well as mechanical skills, I offered my services to the Ukrainian Defense Industry. Have no answer from them so far. So I am keeping doing what I could do: continuing my web attacks on russia, helping old people and feeding stray cats (not much food for them in these times). Made myself a bunch of dummy cartridges for my pump action shotgun so I could do some training with reloading and so on. I handled more firearms than the average civilian here, however for one thing, targets do not shoot back at you and for another, while plinking, one has no need to reload the gun quickly.
For the beginning of the week I have a task to find expendables for my niece' insulin pump and find the way to sent them to Chernihiv (city which is besieged by russians therefore constantly shelled and bombed). Hope I will succeed since she will run out of her supplies by the end of this month. I also pray that she, her boyfriend and her grandmother and grandfather (my brother' parents-in-law) will make it out of Chernihiv to Kyiv. Once I accomplish the task, I will try to volunteer to the army once more.

Thank you for your kind offer, Kidkawie. However, even local logistics these days is unpredictable, not to mention international delivery.
Anyway, I found and bought all the necessary supplies for my niece's insulin pump today. These days only two bridges out of five over the river are opened for civil transport, both equipped with check points, so it is a traffic jam all the way. So I rode my Zephyr 750 for the first time this year. All the way to my workshop (four kilometers) where I kept my Zephyr there over the winter I heard the thunder of our artillery. And since that booming meant that some russian buggers were sorely kicked, that hasn't been unpleasant sounds. No pity for those who have brought death and ruination to our land with no reason but by the old madman's will.
While I was riding, I received a message that there will be a curfew from 8:00 PM today (March 15th) and until 7:00 AM March 17th. So after I returned to the workshop, I visited the mobilization center once more. This time they took my papers and told me they might call me after the curfew is lifted. I am not a hero and I have no romantic illusions about war. But I reckon I have to do my best.

Sic semper tyrannis, your day will come. God forgives sins but the Ukranien people didn´t.
I can only finger crossed to the brave Ukraine soilders and voluntary fighters.
Go and fight for the freedom. Any day they resist the "overpowerd" russian army is a small victory.
In summary the final victory will come closer....
Stay save Gazzz

Gazzz, Thank you for the update. Most of us can't find the words or a sane reason why you, your family and nation should be subjected to this horror called war.
I do know this about you and I mean this most sincerely; YOU are a true hero to your family especially your niece. Bless you for helping those in need.
If you are called to fight, I know from your messages that you go not foolishly but bravely for righteous reasons. Will pray for peace and your safe return.
