I honestly wish I could pick that bike in the classifieds up, it looks like a deal.[/quote]
Thanks Jimbo!
There are / were a few Kz1000P's for sale here in STL for under $1K, if still for sale. I always search CL for sale section for anything Kawasaki. It pops with all kinds of old kaw type stuff.. generators, atv's etc. I had a Kaw 750 jet ski at one time. I had a CSR prior to this one. It also ran like a banshee.
I love these bikes! The 81CSR had laced wheels. My bike is an 81 LTD model. My 81 CSR (now sold) :

Thanks,

Mine is torn apart, but When I get it All together, I can certainly do that.

Sorry, Matt.. Been busy with a project lately, combined with cold rainy weather, makes going out into my unheated tiny workshop fun times. I do remember that this exhaust doesn't have near the ground clearance that the stock exhaust has.. Probably around 6" or less. Also it did make my craftsman motorcycle jack unusable, although I normally use my center stand anyway.
I think weather will be nice today. I might get the bike out for some therapy.
