Sorry to hear about the VP110. I knew it was good lots longer than pump gas, but 4 years is a big ask!
Enjoy the big show, have fun.

ETA: Fat fingered phuck. nobody expects gas to last for 34 years!

Thanks!!!! Plan on having some fun. Going to bring a few cocktails with me.
Now there might be a chance of rain on Saturday due to a hurricane coming up from Mexico.

The VP110 was only four years old. It still burns, but it didn't run like it did the last time I rode it last year. I put into my car. At the cost of VP110 I just couldn't dump it somewhere.

Come on lets see whats under that cover!!!!!!! By the plate I have a sneaking suspicion what it is!!!!!

It belongs to a riding buddy. He is a follower of Rick Lance www.lancegamma.com/ and has some quite trick stuff on it. He is also a collector of "vintage" Japanese bikes.

There are a few of us trying to put together a local '80s bike night cruise. Al has decided that the Gamma will probably be his "bike of choice".

Be safe Doc.

Was your car made before 1978? VP110 is leaded. Lead ruins the catalytic converter...   At some point.  No idea how much lead it takes.

Catalytic converter, we don't need no stinking catalytic converter!!!  Remember Test Tubes??

We don't have emission tests up here in the hills of Arizona. Just the Phoenix area has them.

Well the VJMC West Coast Rally is over. The turnout of riders for the Rally rides and bikes for the Bike Show was real good!! Neither of my bikes won their class, but the KZ did make the podium!!! According to Jack Stein the organizer of the event, the voting was the heaviest in the Kawasaki category of all the classes. My Kz1000 only won second place of all the Kawasaki motorcycles there. A pretty clean slightly modified '74 Z1A with all period correct parts won the class. Best Of Show was swept by a super super clean '71 Mach III H1 500 triple with a set of chambers. As soon as I heard it pulling into the lot and after taking a look at the bike I said to myself "Well there is your winning bike" And I was correct!!!! I even voted for it because it was that nice!!!

Since I really can't safely ride anymore, I got to ride in the crash truck on one of the group rides that went up to Seligman and back. Of all the different makes on that ride only one of the bikes broke down and of course it was a Honda. A big shout out goes to Jack Stein and  VJMC member John who helped me get the bikes to the show. Because of the present state of the economy due to the current administration I could not afford to rent a truck again to bring my bikes to this show. So without their help I never would have made it to the bike show!!!

The winner of the Kawasaki class at the bike show.

Best Of Show winning bike.

Second Place Kawasaki Award.

One gentleman posted a nice walk thru of the VJMC's West Coast Bike Show on YouTube.

The video has great selection of all the different makes and models at the bike show.

He even filmed my MK.II and my Gamma!!!! Fast forward to about 8.15 to see both!!!!
