Not entirely. I'm not sure what it is exactly, it could be a mixture. It's fairly heavy and its definitely not fibreglass on the bottom, on the bottom its like a thick urethane or something but the form on the viable areas seems to perfect/flat for urethane or polymer.
Some mid week updates;
Further flattening out the top fins.

Using the lazer I had it on the center cast line in the wheel to the pivot area. Just to be sure I made a Canadian white trash plumb to double check and it lined up exactly!!
It was offset by 5mm on one side. I used all hand tools in my garage to do it. I took it slow to be bigger then slightly reduce and keep trying. I had to grind off the right peg holder that's welded to the inner pivot area of the frame otherwise it doesn't make any other contact to anything else.

That's because there isn't room for a alcohol injected supercharged kz1000 with a 57mm carb in heaven... :evil:
In the end I'm building the bike for me, no one else.

Steering stem now modified to fit in R1 trips. My buddy welded the bung in thus the discolouration. The machining was perfect to the millimetre.Bushing was made out of steel so it could be welded to the kz stem.

Ya he did. Big fat weld all the way around. Its not going any where. Probably would have to machine it out to get it out of the lower trip cause I flared out the bottom as well for super safety.
