I really like your track bike components. I like the idea, but I think if it and my oil cooler play nicely together, they both go behind the lower triple and mount off the frame neck.

Getting anxious not really able to get anywhere on the bike so far, waiting on parts. Some showed up though. My new Tokico 4 pots that I am trying on my ZRX showed up, which means the 6 pot ZRX ones are moving to the KZ. I ended up selling both pair of calipers this week for bike funding since I didn't need them. Running EBC HH pads on all my bikes now. Should be trailering the bike this weekend to the shop and beginning the welding and cutting I need to do over this weekend and the next. Should be lots of pics for that. Hopefully my offset sprocket will be here this week so I can check frame clearance. Dreaming up gauge mounting and damper mounting. My 43mm damper fork clamp showed up, so playing with that... Still I dislike low project momentum.....

OK, so lookey what showed up.....the other non-offset is for my ZRX.

5/8" offset

So swapped it in, and without milling the rear hub, the chain just touches the angled up tube, barely.... Probable need to take about 3/16" off the hub.

Here is a pic of the stock headlight in place, mocking up for gauges, steering damp, etc....

Here are my 4 pot Tokicos that will be going on my ZRX, but thought I would hang them somewhere....

Here is the aftermarket header I am trying to salvage as you can see it has hit a few things...but I want to keep it working as I have a killer idea for a custom exhaust.....

Will report more from this weekend....

just curious, how much $ does PBI charge for the kz 5/8" sprockets ??

that pipe may be too far gone, but u could try this. plug the ends, inflate the inside of the pipe to 10 or 15 psi, then heat the dent with a torch. apparently the dents can be popped out this way ?

Oh, I can fix the header. Localized heat and a variety of chrome steel ball bearings that are rammed through the inside of the pipe a step at a time. I still need to pick up my finishing ball that is 1.375". Works pretty well.

The KZ sprockets are $40.00 USD. Very high quality. Have them in 1/4, 3/8, and 5/8" offsets.

So, I spent some time on the mill today....Mark & Co convinced me to move the shocks forward and lean them.

So here are the finished goods, but they need to be welded in this weekend.

Nice tight fit to the tube radius, should weld nicely.

thats a Very good price on the sprockets.
just wondering if the spool from a zrx will fit on the end of that shock mount? i always thought they would make a good slider in an crash ? did u say that u have a zrx?

Mark, yeah I have a ZRX with the later shock spools. I was just thinking about that last night, to make a spool and thread them on the stock shock mounts. Would allow a nice tie down point for trailering and bike luggage. Plus will give me a mounting point for the exhaust I have in mind.... Hehe (Evil Laugh)

Great. let me know how they attach. does a bolt go through, or do they slide on a post ????
i always wanted some of those things. i have a bolt through design for my shock mount. i currently have a slider on the old shock mount.

Mark,

They thread on. I believe they are a M14 thread. My problem would be that they are basically a tall nut. The threaded portion is not very deep, but if you are trying to use them on you shock, they should work fine. I will verify tonight.
