KZ/GPZ mono shock hack was Budget Turbo Build

About 7 years ago I decided I needed to turbo charge something. I spent much time searching different forums and trading communication in attempt to build, so caled, cheap horsepower. I got the bike to build boost for a bit but no longer. I plan to go all through it this winter and try and get it figured out.

Turbo is a Garret T25 from a Mitsi Eclipse. Had to cut and turn the output. Also added seals for draw through use. It is oiled by a shurflo pump under the modded tailpiece. Uses the stock wastegate.

Homemade oil tank for turbo. I also use a pressure switch that will not allow power to coils if pump is not on or fails. Use a cheap electric pump to feed the mikuni. It starts and runs well but does not make boost. I am thinking a possible exhaust or intake leak.

Cool intake, Big volume! Check your wastegate, I've seen those valves fall out and then will run good but not make boost. Remove turbine outlet pipe and see if its still there.

Cool! I almost went with the separate oiling system on my Z1R, may still do it when I get back on that project. As for no boost now, I'd check the wastegate also.
