Got the top mount cut out of the donor and ground down to fit.

Of course the master cylinder is in the wrong place.

Once I got that out of the way I could fit in the top mount.

I had to trim the back side of both motor mounts to clear the top mount. It looks like the master will be able to go back to close to original position. Have to take a break now and get some other work done and do a little ice fishing!

Its nice to have original pieces to do a swap with.
Looks like that grinder got a little hard on the frame tube in a couple spots,thats what a they make welders and machinist files for :laugh:

Thanks guys, it looks worse than it is Wireman. Stuff had to come off :cheer: This is a good project for someone who isn't a machinist as it is just alot of note taking, measuring, cutting and grinding. I am amazed at how close these frames are. Of course I have a long ways to go and plenty of opportunity to screw things up yet.
