I just picked up 2 Tokiko front calipers from a 2006 Ninja $34 bucks to the door!
They look like the ones you have on your frontend.

( doubledud )the brkt is 1/8" stainless very simple but it works. as far as the guns i love them i shoot all the time i guess iam a readneck country boy :laugh: now lets get down to the springs on the back of the clutch,that never crossed my mind :whistle: ( i get off on these faces ) i just went and felt them 2 out of the 6 is pretty lose i dont even know what they do and what are they called?

the offset is 5/8th but you have to have a wide swingarm to run the tire.brought the bodywork home to mock it up and i can sit back stare at it this helps me picture it for paint and graphics

well its been a few weeks havent been able to do much trying to get some parts rounded up, spent alittle time wet sanding the primer on the bodywork last week and got the paint on it about 3 hours ago :woohoo: i will say the outcome was a big shock i wasnt sure what it would look like.it was based on a jacket my wife bought me for christmas so had to go with that theam.when i go back to work tomarrow i will show pics. ( put on your sun glasses ) :evil:

back at work so here is some pics of the paint i started with some base white just to briten up the mopar sublime put down 3 coats of it , mixed up some crystal green pearl put 2 coats of that, and put 3 coats of clear done deal. as you can see it is pretty loud but i will take it home set it on the bike and star at it for awhile. sand it put some graphics on it to tone it down should be ok. i am having a hard time with it now not sure if i like it or not? :blink:





i havent got it outside so that will change it alittle. when i get home i will take some pics of it on the bike that will be the true test .

well here it is on the bike not so sure about it but iam not going to repaint so i guess i will live with it for the summer. i think after i put the graphics on it wont look so bad.its a drag bike so it needs to be loud,it looks alittle diff. outside also. now i need to figure out what to put on it?





also need to get the frt. rim painted, pain in the ass with the tire on it.

Personally...I like the green. Some graphics to break it up a little might be fine but I wouldn't do too much. Once you get the front rim painted I think it will take on a whole different look. Keep the shine to a moderate level so it doesn't take away from the color shceme and this will look great...
