Excellent results with refinishing the motor! Looks beautiful!
All the painstaking work and effort toward removing the old finish, plus thorough prep work and cleaning, has really paid off.
Good Fortune!

well i didnt get any input on this before so i will try 1 more time i need to figure out how to get rid of this box but not sure how to rewire so everything will work. people say they use trailer plugs to take them of and on at diff. tracks so i am wondering if i just pull it off every thing would be fine ?? it looks like the only thing that it runs is the clutch. is there anyone that knows about these things.

wow larry from what i can see this head looks great :woohoo: like i have said at least 20 times i cant thank you enough for this. i am going to have to sit at my desk the rest of the day cause i have this mound in my pants looking at it very excited :silly: you are rite i dont need the delay box i am wanting to get ride of it i just have to figure out if removing it will the auto shift - air clutch --ect still work ? i am no elect. and i didnt wire it so iam alittle lost on it. i promise you i will get cams for your head but it will be this fall when the wife gives me my winter project buget and i also promise you i will send it back out to have the rest of the work you talked about done that will be my chance to pay you back. since i joined this sit everybody has been very helpfull and never had a smartass ansewer for the stupid questions that i have asked but you have went way out of your way to help and i want everyone to know that.(( if there is anyone out there that has a set of 410 cams that would like to trade for a set of 380 cams i would like to talk )) well i could go on about this but everyone understands where i am coming from on this so all i will say is thanks larry your the man.

Just mailed it Priority USPS. Probably see it on Saturday I would expect.
Put 260 shims on the intake side and 250's on the exhaust to start with. Adjust from there.
Intakes are 1.479" installed height.
Exhausts are 1.485" installed height.
Intake boots are sealed so you don't need to do that. You may want to pull it back apart when you do the center idler.
The nubs in the valve cover where the rubbing block was have to go too.
