well i have looked high & low i cant find the pics of the bike when i brought it home but i will do my best to put a pic in your minds. it was black had the 1 peice seat tail, stock tank and side covers and one huge dent in the tank where a tree limb fell on it. had spoke wheels with 7" slick and a set of wheelie wheels.very rough looking.the pics shows the look but it was in mockup stage.got it home and fired it up and did a few hole shots seem to run good, no smoke, gears worked ect. ok time to redo it to my likes.mind you the guy i got it off of had the list of stuff that was done to it and i figured it to be true :woohoo: it had a oil leak up around the #1 valve cover so i pulled the cover off, i first seen stock cams, 2 valve cover bolt holes broke & a healy coil, getting pissed  ok if this is the start of it all i had better go deeper. 1260 not 1075 with one of the cylinders big gouge and piston junk, after getting over the anger and disappointment split the case you guessed it no back cut but the crank had been welded and a pretty good job.so i started with the crank of a dragbike

well after seeing the motor problems i figured id sit it off to the side for another day, figured i would get the bike ready to paint, my favarite part of any build dont get off on the sanding part but comes with the rewards. when i work on these it is in the evenings & weekends so i do everything the hard way, no sandblaster well sand paper works fine, just work harder. :pinch: tore the shocks apart for paint because polish was out of the question ( bad shape ) also wanted to put spacer in to lower & seals so they wouldnt leak. loaded it all up and to work i go spray gun in hand,we us ppg paint there so that is what went on it black base clear & charcole on the shocks.after baking it ready to go home with me. started making a roller out of it almost every nut & bolt is new i dont like old rusty stuff on a new bike  rebuilt the forks bolted them on it was starting to look like a bike but when it came to the wheels i just couldnt put them back on it. alot of people like spokes and that is fine iam not one of them i have had 4 kzs in my life and none of them had spokes they had ltd wheels.i looked into soom race wheels but they cost alot and not on the buget.the bike came with 630 chain 15t 5/8 offset frt. and 42t rear.now the orange bike i have has 530 chain and i wasnt happy with the gearing on it and i wanted to put a 200 series tire on it so i figure i would kill 2 birds with 1 stone so the d/bike got the other ones drive train ;) reason for gsxr wheels! put the foot conts. on and the batt. box and called it a day.

thanks you all for the comments: next up was to mount the handle bars and had to make a mount for the computer. now it was the rear inner fender the guy before me used the stock plastice i wasnt real keen on that but here agian its sunday nothing open how can i make a fender? somtimes you have to be creative and that is where the brownie pan comes in (got to get another before the wife finds out  )

got the fender mounted and moved on to the wiring which is done pretty well but alot of it not going to zip tie it yet might have to move it while installing the motor.

i made the fender so it would be nicer mougting the rev. limiter & auto shift plus it has teflon coating so the rubber schould wipe rite off

You could mount it on the plate anchored on the handlebar bolts and held on with velcro. Maybe wire the wires into a quick dis-connect so wires come off as one instead of seperate wires.
