u r sooo right my friend. this winter i am switching from cable clutch to hydraulic. I’m also trying to figure out what i want for a new speedo.

Your build is coming along nicely.

i did my front end first, then road for a summer before doing the rear end. dont worry for a second, about mixing radials and bias tires. no problem.
i ended up running a 170mm tire rather than a 180 to gain chain clearance.

I was wondering if anyone else caught the igloo boom box. What a great idea!

Thanks That had entered my mind which reminds me II still have to buy a front tire. I have no idea how old the one on there is but it;s pretty old and this year I plan to wear the rear out.

I knew the 190 tire was a bit aggressive for my wheel and spocket alignment but i talked myself out of a 200 lol

I have another paint scheme to come up with a motor rebuild front end swap a complete teardown and rewire I have to believe my winters are spoken for for quite a while. not to mention my ultimate goal is if it;s not painted or polished it will be chrome

OH yeah a few more winters.

My buddy Jimmy moved to another shop and has a motorcycle restoration section and offered me a few hundred square ft to do some painting so maybe by spring I can make a few bucks to finance my addiction

Spent the day doin some running went by talked to a guy i haven't seen
in a while owns a bike shop in evansville, picked up some lock nuts for my wheel

I had already ordered my Z1e parts and the stuff they were out of stock of
just waiting on the poistman. my guy told me let him order em next time he
can get em in 2 days

went to drop off some decal ideas to my graphics guy he did a great job on my previous
venture



exact reproduction of the big tank emblems non-laminated so they can be cleared over
I ordered a sheet of laminated also (the laminated hold up without being cleared
over. the non lam are thinner so less clear can be used without a ridge

I guess i gave my son some motivation he bought a bike to rebuild also
his 4th project in as many years lol

had a great day I got to play with my 2 year old vrand daughter and my sin in law
got to get dirty






I moved it forward the other day but still needed to
shorten it

He shortened it today 1" should've been a little more
maybe 1.5 or 2 but at least i feel comfortable walking away
drom it now

and my grandbaby loves it

The mailman droppewd off my filter and seals& Gaskets today get to pick up my masterlink tomottow now all I needs is screws (oil and a weeks worth of cleaning) and I will be rining by weds. Supposed to be in the 50's

So I have my van loaded up with my totes and parts when work calls and my account had called and needed 20 people today needless to say I ended up at the office for most of the day no work done

I did go by and pick up the KZR NARR stickers while I was there my office is less than a mile from the shop. My girl bought me a Zippo for Valentines day so I dressed it up lol





But other than that its not been a very productive day for the bike
but I was able to pick up the master link on my way home

Some days are just really good days! Spent the morning getting all the bolts tight got the transmssiion door off seals changed out on my new one. Master link on, oil filter changed 46.00 bucks for oil gonna give Lucas Oil a try Indiana Co.



Got home and my trans door screws were in the mailbox Thanks Brian (kz10006) I owe you bigtime.
waiting on my new sprocket cover but will use the old one until it comes in


pretty good shape going by the picture we will see.

Cant wait to get back to town to put the door on oil in it and fill the tank and see if it will go down the rd. I'll be up at the crack of dawn
