You know, when we get our builds done, I think we need to make a run down Oklahoma way. I have a bottle of single malt scotch that I think needs to be shared with a guy who has always been very helpful to so many of us on here.
Be one hell of a shakedown ride, for me and the bike :woohoo:

Hi, I've been watching your build and other projects and enjoy every bit.
I had a lot of fun doing mine and can see everyone else having the same.
I run a 180 with a 5/8 offset sprocket and runs within 2mm of the frame and tyre.
Done over 10000k's and over 250kph's with no problems.
I'm a bit stumped as to how you came up with running a 190 with a 1/2 offset.
I found this on the Japanese site "Sanctuary" It does have a diagram with it.
The translation is a bit off but still readable.
Rear tire size: 180 Rear tire size offset 17mm Chain Line 190: Chain Line 23mm offset If you use the drive chain 530 into sealing relationship between the offset of this size tire and chain line, say that an absolute value.
And significantly reduce a wide rear tires, chain drive on the positional relationship between the tire and the left side, almost 100% of the interference problem. In this case, the option of shifting to the right wheel to avoid significant interference with the chain is out of the question. (Unfortunately, it is also true that there are many such vehicles.)
Wheel (tire) is from and we want to set the center of the body only, in order to set the alignment proper orbital position passes through the drive chain, the outside position is set sprockets front and rear, ie (left body) position to change (offset) will be, is not necessary to secure the clearance between the tires and chains left.
The important thing here is to accurately measure the dimensions of the day stance and color foil normal was secured properly aligned in the center of the vehicle manufacturer originally on was applied that number to the wide wheel wear, and eventually the chain line is that you set on the calculation will be applied around the sprocket mounting position.
Chain Line (The installation sprockets front and rear) also will be applied to measure precisely, the last stage of assembling the foil, if you have closed that gap center aligned themselves foil, the error component displacement of the foil as a result, the chain line I also would have delayed the form, it is important to The center of the foil first.
In recent years, sport radial tire width is measured to be released from tire manufacturers, has become thick on average. Even 180 tires, many stocks have a width of about 183 ~ 184mm width and the actual measurement, are also present in much thicker than the stock show. No problem with those 180 +15 mm offset rear sprocket originally was replaced with a large error in width measurement issues, and in some cases forced to 17mm offset sprocket specification changes.
Leave 15mm chain line offset, if you want to measure the tire 180 different brands, is forced to choose the type of seal-less chain of 530 fast consumable replacement cycle.
If you set the center of the tire body 180
The actual width of the tire brands have chosen slightly differently, we will consider assuming a total width 183mm. 530 Drive Chain (with seal) is used, such as plates and head of a pin from the chain sprocket on the inside, so will use the space of about 7.5mm. In addition, 2 ~ 3mm clearance between the chain and tires also secured at least to calculate the chain line in the following equation.
※ The 17mm front sprocket to use an offset, hub sprocket alignment and chain alignment will be cut to 102mm from the rim center of rice.
The original orientation setting machines not wide tires, if you set the track corresponding to the 180 tire chain size, frame (inside left) problem would greatly interfere. Since this is the case with respect to Z is certainly in-line processing requires processing measures.
Most drives support inline processing chain offset the amount of work involved in processing, as well as processing and reinforcing the frame and lay down is a task that requires a very sophisticated processing techniques that require precision and strength.
For many years SANCTUARY, try repeating the same work while giving the racer in Z also said its vehicle development test bed, we have confirmed the strength and safety in a hard-driving mode. Pivot around the left side of the strength of the line after treatment is higher than the level we expected, showed high resistance and rigidity for stability, we recommend one of the menus work as a genuine production even in RCM and.
Machined counterbore three areas inside the frame, press material inset 凹字 angle and welding. 180 Tires (chain line 102mm) 190 tire (108mm copper) in the corresponding process is different because, at a meeting to determine the initial specification.

whew that made my head hurt harvey  .
that better be the right offset i just got through making the d@mn thing :woohoo: !
it seems like omr ran a 14 mm offset with his zx636 swingarm and wheel conversion.
which is .551 so hopefully we're good.

I am ADD I had to read it 9 times and my head is still spinning.
I came up with 5/8 originally then after re measuring with my 520 chain 1/2" seemed a better choice
Where was that article when i was measuring? lol

I lived in a small town in the deasert a couple miles from Morongo valley the home of American Classics I would like to see if the guy was someone I went to high school with.
and of course a stop at Leons in OK for and appreciation ride.

I have to take a break every few minutes, If I dont i try to do much befre it's time
Gluing and forming foam can be an art form lol
I think I have it!
The hard part is over scinning it with a Quality vinyl
shpuld be reletively easy. Hoping I wont need to sew it
If I need to sew it I will have to ask the exwife to use the one at the shop
stretchin the vinyl tight enough can distort the foam especially around the tank
and make it neccassary to sew a front flap on it so it pulls evenly but we will see

Thanks Leon at least it will be useable. I put the old cover on it and could run it if I had to. I looked up my old material supplier (The internet is a wonderful thing.
Without a current wholesale account I can buy raw Material for less money in town so I guess tomorrow I will have to see if they have any marine grade vinyl at the fabric shop.
The upholstery store that is going out of business had every color including snakeskin except for basic black in a decent pattern. (they had some gross big pattern table cloth looking stuff)
anyway Just in a holding pattern until next week
