Thrown together to ride til winter

On my way to town it's Friday and work always calls me around 9 and asks me to do various odds and ends things like running checks out to one of the clients and it's a good excuse for me to go to town and vuisit the bike lol

today's agenda:

go get the vinyl for the seat, I have decided that the front will need a seam so I will cut it and sew it (use the exwifes uphostery machine)

order seals from Z1E

mail off some decals I sold on ebay lol

I would rather stay home and wait for the UPS guy but that wont be til this evening as far out as I live I'm usually his last stop

If I get the seat done I will post some pic's but without the bike here I almost hate to commit myself to covering it without checking it on the bike. but hell no guts no glory I suppose.

The vinyl I found is a faux Leather and looks preety good it's crazy money considering I used to pay 3-5 dollars a yard it is 23.00 a yd.

As usual it wasn't pretty. I had about 15 minutes to sew it up with a machine
that hasn't been used since it was brought into the office area. (I was under
the assumption they used it alot) but any way I am pretty happy with it! makes
me want to buy new foam and try it again lol

used seat from ebay 24.00 can of spray glue 14.00 vinyl 23.00= 61.00 with leftover materials

Got my sprocket today and pretty well completed my todo list. I am pretty excited
about getting to my bike tomorrow and putting them on. After my grand daughters
party of course.

Thanks! as long as it fits around the tank I think it will be fine I used the same contour off the original seat so we will see.

u may as well grind out some foam and make some little (or big ?) jewel cups in while ur at it. :laugh:

My heart is heavy today. They moved my bike outside and it rained today
for their party. I sat the seat on it and I think the front lines up with the tank
fine.

not having the bike here when I made it had me nervous.
No time tomorrow with the annual Super Bowl Party Im getting agrivated next year
I'm building a garage.
The date was wrong on my camera for some reason it corrected itself sometime today

i think the seat looks pretty good.

It was sitting outside and I couldn't get a good side shot as far as this weekend goes between my grand daughters birthday and the superbowl well... lets just say I am up and moving today something I couldnt say yesterday.

I have a plan tomorrow I am off work and get to spend the day playing. hope to findout the front sprocket is perfect lol

I did put it on real quick and lay the chain around it it's gonna be close

The welder is Back! tomorrow will be fun!

Pretty good day got the kickstznd moved up my Camera is acting up keeps
reverting back to the previous day and not registering alot of my pic's
guess its time for new batteries and memory card
