I looked at going to sony as well, pretty good job for that area. Go further north to Clinton and you have Inland Container, even better job. Got pull going in the Maintenance dept but have to wait on an opening which isn't very often as with most good jobs.
Just give me a buzz if your up for the offer. I'll schedule around you.

On the shift linkage. Could you move the piece on the shaft turn it down to the next spline (so its pointing straight down) and then just shorten the rod a little.

it's looking great.
what year and bike did u say the rearsets are from? is the piece on the shaft part of it, or from another bike ? i like the way its offset. it keeps it away from the kickstand frame support bracket. i had to grind the bracket for clearance on mine.

The rearsets are from a 2005 ZZR600 according to the guy I got them from paid 100.00 delivered

and I had to cut the original linkage down about 1/2 inch on each side and about a 1/4 inch of the heim bolt thread.

That is about as low as I can go until I move the kickstand boss an would have to shorten the linkage a little more.

I did not have to alter the rearset at all only the linkage.

The original brake arm boss I cut off before I studied it as soon as I stuck the swingarm up in there and scratched the p out of it I immediately decided rearsets and cut it off

I like those too - how did you go about mounting them? It looks like you make new mounting "bungs" (not sure what else to call them) on the frame. Did you show that earlier in the thread?

yeah I welded some threaded 3/8 bushings or whatevwer you call them to the frame I have hit them with a hammer til I was tired of swinging and jumped up and down on them. I am confident they will hold
