Haven't posted in a while so I thought today would be a good day to continue the saga

I have been leaving the house everyday since Tuesday with a plan
1. get some miles on the conversion and double check everything.
2. Clean and replace cam plugs
3. spring clean the entire bike
4. put my good body work on

everyday on my way to my bike I was sidetracked by either work or a business proposition so today was the first day Ii had a plan to deal with the distractions and get to my list

1:00pm I pull up turn the alarm off to the garage turned the gas on pulled the choke and...
hummm... it turns over just fine it has never failed to start evebn after sitting for weeks
floodeed? no fuel?? Shit!

Pull #1 plug lay it against the head no spark Pull #2 no fire ok last sunday I walked up hit the key and it fired up like a new one WTF??

check power to the coil good check pulse right side good no pulse from the left side not good
notice coil puls wire loose tighten it up and Now have right side pulse.

go ahead and switch number 2 and 4 plugs lay plug on head I have spark week and intemitant I am hoping my firing up and and not running it has fouled the plugs as they are black wet and sooty

picked up a set of Autolite 403 and gonna try it again tomorrow.

The weather wasn't condusive to puttining many milers on her today so I'll try another day

Got home and my right rear peg was in the mailbox Thanks KZ100006 your a life saver

Pretty decent day. threw the plugs in and pressed the button and
she purred like a lion!

got to put a few miles on her mounted the rear pegs let my son take
her for a spin good day!





tomorrow plan is to change out the clip master ling to a rivet style
start cleaning

hoping to have the sprocket cover this week. Bought it on ebay on the 14th
it is taking too long but it has been shipped.

really looking forward to getting a whole day on it soon

thanks guys! my son went out and bought an ultra classic couple of weeks ago, I bet we end up swapping bikes alot lol

It seems when I get close something always slows the progress.

got my new sprocket cover in the mail this week and I have had to work all week which has been good just slowing me down.

Today I was off so I thought got a late start and then my girl had a family member have some medical issues (I dont know them) so after doing a brief srent at the hospital I ran out to the bike for a bit got the new cover put on and the masterlink took it down the road

which was not that bad considering I loaded my polishing tote up before I left Seems i forgot my buffer ans cleaning agents lol oh well tomorrow is another day

Wow! What a day! except for running low on gas I think my conversion was a success!

Man I cant ezpress how different it feels
Managed to get the tach to quit leaking also!
