Well I've had my bike for over a year and I figure it's about time to post some pictures of her.

This is the condition I bought it, in May 2010 with 14,440 miles on the clock:

After putting 15,000 miles on it in a year, here's what she looks like:

2000 ZRX 1100
1976 KZ 900- Daily Driver
1980 LTD 550- Dalton Highway survivor!

If it has tits or tires, it'll give you problems!

Since then, in preparation for my Alaska trip which was scratched, I've bolted on new Progressive shocks, a steering damper, modern voltage regulator/rectifier, and all LED lights (minus the headlight).

I have a pair of Lesters ready to throw on, an HID headlight install (since I've upgraded the reg/rec), and a few more odds and ends.

Next up is a dual front disc kit, soon!

i like it !

the paint wouldn't be my choice but i would roll the he!! out of it.

if anyone said anything i would just go "yea it's kinda crazy , but i dig it" :cheer: .

i like funky paint jobs even if it wouldn't be my choice they can still be cool.your paint looks like it is in good shape still.

cool bike,you should be proud.

thanks for postin the pics up.

Looks good :) Nothing cobbled up about that ride. I see so many hacked up bikes but that's definitely not one of them. Ride it with pride.

That is one sharp looking bike, the flames are really from the period! Remember all the wild paint jobs and custom looks on the street in those years? Ah!

Great looking bike. You'll have to let us know how the modern reg/rec does. My '76's electrical system still works.....but you can tell it's a little tired.

I just noticed the part about putting 15,000 mile on it in a year :cheer: That's a feat in itself. Just out of curiosity, how many rear tires did you go through?

Very nice. I like the flames. I toned my flames down when it was repainted.

Did I say it was a nice bike? Roy

Haha well it had Cheng Shins on it when I bought it, and since then, I've ridden close to 20,000 miles now, and I'm still on my second rear Spitfire and first front Spitfire.
