I only managed to ride ten-thousand miles this year so I just turned 40k. We'll git em next year!
Went for a ride today. Didn't have any particular destination in mind, just wanted to ride. Wound up in Barstow of all places.

I've had a few PMs on my turn signals, so I thought I'd share. I did plenty of research ahead of time and did a full conversion. Here are the LEDs I use (from superbrightLEDs.com):
Turn signals- 1156-A45-T (45 LED, amber)
Tail light- 1157-W45-T (45 LED, white)
Gauge backlights- BA9SF-W-12V (single LED, somewhat larger, 180 degree beam pattern, white)
Indicator lights- BA9S-W-90-12V (single LED, 90 degree beam pattern, white)
Flasher- CF12ANL
I tried the BA9S-WHP9 for the gauge backlights and indicator lights, but they didn't fit- too long.
I like my setup. Only complaint is that the BA9 bulb bases were too long, so I filed a little bit of the ground contact off and they fit right in. Use dialectic grease- the posts on the bases are actually pressed from the ground shell itself, the first time I removed the turn signal bulb, one of the posts was stuck and wound up breaking off leaving a nice little hole. I have it MacGuyvered in there now, but they're giving me problems.

Also, popped my carburetor cherry over the weekend.
It's pretty easy taking them apart and cleaning them! Let's see how well they go back together

Another picture from my ride up to Barstow. I recently started using the social networking application Instagram. It's pretty interesting... You can tag your pictures with keywords to other users can search for pictures they like. Quite a few folks from Japan have liked pictures of my bike and started following my feed. Interesting what the world is becoming!

Very nice!!! Great taste in KZs ![;) ;)](/media/kunena/emoticons/11.png)
I have the same signals, and called myself researching everything before purchasing. Didn't realize they didn't come with bulbs until they arrived. Standard bulbs are a no go in these housings, they're too long.
Ended up converting the front set to use 1157 type bulbs(BAY 15D bases). Now have running lights and signal lights up front![:cheer: :cheer:](/media/kunena/emoticons/10.png)
Bought the SBLEDs and now I need a good electronic flasher to go with them. Looks like an FL32 or EF32 electronic flasher is plug and play. Fits the factory rubber mount to boot!! Bonus

Very beautiful bike, the turn signals look very good and thanks for the info on Superbright LEDs. A very nice find, good also on the PO who knew the value of such a beast.

Hey, MTB! Any chance you're going Laguna Seca this year? A few of us are riding out from the PHX and I'll be riding the KZ. Looks like we will be riding through the Angeles National Forest on the 2 to bypass LA.

Not really. I'm still collecting parts. Have a Yosh pipe, a set of smoothbores, and I'm still tracking down a set of Yosh Stage IV slipper pistons. It'll be another few months, probably a year, of collecting parts before I start doing any major work. You can see the rear end of it here:

I won't be unfortunately. That is on my list to do for sure, won't be able to this year unfortunately. When are you going? I'll gladly meet up with you and do some riding with you.
Here are some pics along CA-2 from the group ride we did last month: kzrider.com/forum/17-ride-reports/513930...t=20&start=20#526594
We can probably get those guys together for a bigger group ride next time around!
