bluezbike wrote: Very beautiful bike, the turn signals look very good and thanks for the info on Superbright LEDs. A very nice find, good also on the PO who knew the value of such a beast.

When I bought it, I remember the PO saying that the most important thing he cared about was that he wanted to sell it to someone who'll use it. Mission accomplished.

15k miles in a year - that would be a hell of a lot of hours riding around here where you must be pushing the law just to average 45 mph! Good to see the bike's being used as intended :)

I've ridden with Mark before. The man will commute 200 miles on a Saturday to do a 50 mile ride. 15K miles in a year isn't a stretch  B)

Went for another ride today. Started up CA-38, the back way to Big Bear. Traffic was a bitch, no one using the turnouts. Saw a side road that I've never been down before, had a full tank of gas, figured what the heck. Wound up taking a side road to the side road, then a dirt road off the side road of the side road! Long story short, had an awesome afternoon puttsing around dirt fire roads in San Bernardino National Forest! I'll have to keep an eye out for a pair of "semi knobby" tires for riding fire roads! Nice looking bike. Is it a 1976? Do you call the color candy tangerine? Keep us bike freaks posted, as we all like pics. Nice job.

Thanks Mike! Yep, it's a '76 A4, not sure of what color I'd call it - it is a factory Honda car color though. I lost a side cover about a year ago and was pretty surprised to learn while matching paint colors that it was indeed a Honda color. I can get the color code for you if you're interested.

Replaced my intake boots this weekend. Also, I tightened up the throttle linkage as well as lubed all the cables. Feels like a new bike!

I got a new DSLR camera in anticipation of a big trip to Norway later this month so I've been trying to play with it as much as possible to learn the settings for different situations. Here are a few pictures of it on Sunday after a nice wash and detail. Hope you enjoy!
