That sounds about right. I'm at 60" with my standard length GSXR swingarm. You just might need those extra 4" to keep the front end down when that hairdryer starts blowing. :woohoo:

Testarossa, I'm hoping that it hooks good enough to carry the front. I read your post and seen your planning on doing some fishing, I haven't fished in over 5 yrs and If you look at the first pic from the last 2 I posted I live on a lake. I just can't seem to find the time and when I do, I'm not in the mood.:(

I much prefer salt water to fresh water fishing. Part of the reason that I chose to live near Houston. It's about a 75 min drive to my spot.

And yeah, I bet you can still get that tire off the ground if you try hard enough. So how much HP are you shooting for?

That looks pretty keen, Needs to be about 4 inch's longer, cut the back down on the seat, put shocks on it and I'd own it. Aw hell, I'd own it just like it is.:woohoo:
testarossa, I've never been salt water fishing, never had the chance either time I've been on the coast but would like to give it a try. As for hp, shooting for mid 200, maybe higher for dyno pulls to set fuel and ign. curves. Should be a ride.;)

I've been salt water fishing but it's probably not what you guys have in mind, we use hand lines and Norweigan jiggers to catch codfish...can be up to 60+ pounds.

Started mocking turbo up today, If I could find some heat resistant zipties I could have this baby running in no time.

Made a notch in the frame to clear the turbo, I will add bracing to compensate.

Here is a Z1R dash I found at Goodwill for $10(crazy the stuff you come across there!) with all the openings blanked out and a card stock flange. It still needs the flange layered and the edges filleted. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it, but it sure looks cool! :P
