ignitor was confusing but seems to just get eliminated....the was another unit bolted in with the coils that had an orange and double red...that i never figured it's use ...

all was going good...time frame was looking like start up in an hour or so....THEN...carbs too big to mount tank with the petcock where it is now...will ask later how to solve this......any takers??

so ....off with the smoothbores...off with the intakes boots ....

start the cleaning of the 28mm carbs and try and swap bowls and eliminate the accel pump and linkage

The dot, being the magnet embedded in the rotor, should face the left-side (rear) pickup module when F mark aligns for 1/4. The module is wired to whichever coil is firing outside spark plugs 1 and 4;

The dot should face the right-side (forward) pickup module when F mark aligns for 2/3. The module is wired to whichever coil is firing inside spark plugs 2 and 3.
