are you saying this plug was once to a kawsaki c.d.i set up..

this can't be good...rode it home though,,,,cracked coil the other one was grimy but solid and the plug wires were rednecked with elec tape to the coils instead of rubber boots from the body to wire....

Dynas got done toadys and am just waiting to finish with valve cover install to mount em...paint should be ready in the morning..gonna low oven it for a few...

all the valves were withing spec...# one intake was just allowing the 0.10 to squeese in should i mess with it and see if i can put a bigger shim in...painted the cover

gonna do for now...gonna doo a decent job re-setting the MKII dark areas..the p.o stripped the paint...some day i wanna do a pro job....this came out great for what it is imo

tried three headers...kerker chrome from p.o...trashed..a very nice jardine can....my morwaki will require to much to fab for the project...it will go on my j model...
settled on a vance and hines street pipe untill i can afford a black kerker...

cover looks good with custom block offs and painted..imo

have three sets of cv j carbs ,three sets of 26 -28 mikunis....and i still think i wann try and see if it will even run with the 33 vm smoothbores...i know it is gonna get the cv's in the end till i snag some 29's...

super nice day except for a bunch of banzia deer flies...dried blood running...

if i can keep my detail and attention when i'm re-painting the motor and tid bits..it may pass for nice... even had a tiny paint brush and some engine paint in a bottle cap for around lettering ect...

Damn big guy... I get the exhaust test for fit and all but WTF, you remove every damn KZ part you have in the shop for inserting into the pictures? :blink: :laugh:

it helps me to see what i have...like the green passenger pegs...they were listed a few years back as kz1000 passenger pegs...well i knew they were not ...but...they were not bidding and i got emfor like 15 bucks...i figure with stuff like that...if was at a garage sale and saw em for 15 i'd snap em up....so i got em and it turns out the peg only ,not the hangers for now, would fit in the MKII clevis....well on my trips into my shop i grab shit i uncover while looking for a nut or a little tid bit,and just bring it out and keep it near the work area to glance at when working that area.....otherwise i forget i even have stuff...like the Dyna III...it was 20 minutes to find where i stashed it away....

but yes...i get a.d.d and spin in circles a tad....

gonna wacth my recorded Catalunyan Moto gp and then head down stairs and do the coils and igniton...burned out today..peace
