neighbors moving in ..dude has a ford army jeep super early...drove it off a backhoe flatbed and into the barn..super cool..another drunk carpenter from up the road saw the bike and came over to tell me personal like that a guy down the road had the old kz1600 (must have been a rare bike)and he was on the back when the guy went 150 down through our caynon rd...you gotta love folks memories ,,,,the road is not good for 65 on zx10r or a good car even...:woohoo:

three yrs almost four back i bought the tarozzi rearsets on an auction N.O.S and was gonna convert my 900 to rear disk....they are for a kz1000...well they sat in a drawer and i felt like a dumbass..worse after i started learning what stuff goes for new..i paid 238 shipping and all...
but then when i got the MKII i was like...DECENT!!!!!!they will look killer on the lines of a MKII

the pipes (jardine and V&H) are for other bikes and i just wanna set em there and peek at em while i'm working to get feel of their lines and colors i kinda like the V&H and that is weird cause on my 900 i am no fan of V&H....

the brace--- valve breather port block offs----fork splitter kawasaki cover---- were a gift from a great dude!!!!!!!just for the black beauty build....

the coils -morwaki can-and VM33 smooth bores were recent e-bay's just for this....


i am gonna put everything that i remove in a special box and mark it really well ( i learned the value of this after buying the J1000 -73Z1E and a parts pile from a KZ bro's widow, he had marked stuff and it helped her to know what stuff went to/values ect..creepy to unpack and read his notes a bit though)
but i am gonna take a kinda stock MKII and do a build and this may not be the best idea i've ever had :blink: ... :blink: , so i better put the stuff ,wrapped up nice and even oiled maybe lightly,in a specail box and mark it in case i forget or go and meet my maker......
I was down watering just now and was peeking at the bike waiting for the neighborhood to wake up so i can rock on the bike......i think i am gonna eliminate the chain guard and tail inner fenders,the air box and pumper carbs of course ,and it really just does not look right with the motor all stripped so once i get it driving and have a few good rides, i'm gonna pull and paint the motor in the MKII style...do it slow and try and get a decent finish...the seat cover and rims and body paint will be last...maybe by 2011 GP...would dig getting a pic of Eddie on it

i should get to the post office this mon-..delays delays...so for folks i am mailing goodies too,,, please be patient ....as it ype this i am gonna watch the british motogp that recorded at 5 am ca time and am watching a perigren falcon try and snipe the bird bath community...he almost just had pigion for breakfast.....lifes good ..hope all have a great day...peace... ride safe today...more pics later...

p.s i tried to pop the kerker megaphone-can ,off to dry fit the morwaki..late in the dusk last night...bang...bang...twist...tap...pop...bang....it's on there good..i forgot how tight those kerkers get after they run a while...they never just unclamp right away...my super trapp is a joy to assemble ect...those kekers after a season are nature welded...:woohoo:

i will know more today ,but the morwaki looks to bea close fit ...it will sweep up a lot like an early yami R-1 pipe...but it appears to line up aand be real close..we'll see...black kerker is a must this year anyway's
