if you can learn to do your own polishing of the stripped parts before plating it will save you lots of money B)

Are you doing the work yourself? I have some Kawasaki project bikes I'm working on also. One Z1, two Z1RS,One 78 KZ race bike that I started working on 30 years ago. I live in San Leandro Ca. and would like to hook up with some of the people that like to work on old bikes. Thanks Rich

I'm in monterey and as far "the work"...i am i guess i'm able to understand the basics...but really...with the help of folks on here ...I now have a vast network of folks who like to work on these old bikes...and are extremely knowledgable and very quick to save me wasted time and money...or to give me other options to consider...
the kzr folks make San Leandro and any other area or nation even ...the same distance......a few pictures and a good question and we are your virtual shop helpers...

Post some pictures of the bikes...a quick intro about your background with bikes and experience and maybe start with the current issue your bikes or bike is working on...or start a project thread for the one you want beging to work on ,as i've done here....you will get all the help and encouragement you could imagine...i look forward to some pics...peace craig....
