PVC is schedule 40 1.5" (closer to actual 1 3/8") from Home depot... The PVC collector is a 4" reducer heated and bent into shape.. The exhaust, 3" PVC plumbing pipe... All bent with heat gun (HBT $9.99)

I wasn't worried about crinkles so much as can be witnessed in the 3" bends" but more for riser lengths, working around the oil filter cover, exhaust length/bends for my calculated/desired rpm range (max power band) I want it tuned to....

Risers will be 1.5" O.D. 16g mild steel. I will most likely end up with 1" or 1.5" baffles in a 2.5" off the collector back to the end of the pipe... All welded together one piece design....

Head pipe flange included, won't be any need for split exhaust collars....

As for the collector....
Found this awesome article on pipe cutting angles angles that basically provide the internal bullets inside of the collector....

All of which will try a home made version, it it comes out crap, just buy a prefabbed 4-1 collector and bullet ~ $60...
