Done yet? Done yet? Done yet? Done yet? I got a feeling Mrs. OMR will report him missing... again! May I suggest you remove all life insurance from yourself at least until this new bike is done? No sense taking needless chances even if you are promising her a perch on this one.

Did you get that one out of Davie's locker? That looks like many of the parts are from an 80. Wow! You have quite a bit of work to do on her. But it is all in the spirit of "Getr done!"
I can't wait to see how she will turn out.

None at this time Roy....

Haven't started on it yet...
This time around will go a little different route....

Clean up the motor, check compressions, leak down test, electrical, re-build the Mik 26mm carbs, chain and sprockets, re-build the calipers, new brakes pads etc...

Basically just get her rolling nicely then go after the detailing such as frame and body paint, buffing, detailing and such...

Won;t be in a hurry on this one so most likely start after the first of the year... Maybe do somethings during the holiday who knows...

I'll keep you guys & gals posted as I go....

Putting that paint scheme back on it would be worse than than when you added two headlights to the bike you have! Nice score though got something to keep you going now:)

I was out in the shop cleaning up and the old girl (78KZ1000) Yelled @ me...

"Hey OMR you old asshole, when you going to get off your ass and start working on me?... You Suck!"

Well, I couldn't argue with her and well it's finally cooled down enough (90*F) to start on the old girl....

So Stript her down & removed the engine and started wire wheeling off the frame paint....

Here' we go.....
