Holy shite man! I leave the board for awhile and come back on to find you destroying your pride and joy. Dude, we have to have a talk about this one. You can't be doing these sorts of things just to get everyone's sympathy and attention D it to H. WTF. lol
I still have to get my bike done. Looks like the progress it's going at will be the second Tuesday of next week.
Let me know if you'll be coming to Chi-town any time. I got a garage full of bikes. My 79, my 02,03 rexes and I just picked up an R1 that I may be delivering to California to my brother this xmas which means I'll be trailering my bike and his out that way which means we gonna have to ride a bit before I get there.
Lemme know what you think about that idea.

Holy crap! That sucks donkeys. Where the hell is that piston? All over the side of the road? Good thing you didn't eat it when all that oil decided to exit stage right.
Man you sure are tough on engine cases. Hopefully all those bits of piston didn't foul up everything else.

Last weekend ride up to Payson AZ (long winding road, rubberized asphalt surface, twist her up coming out of the corners 75-110mph, ran beautiful as always...
Coming out of the corner, hit the straight, ~ 105mph, give her some throttle and hicked up... Hmmm, WTF, no noise, thump, crack, exhaust backfire, noise what so ever... then total loss of power, start pulling over, she's not idling well going down captain.... Uh-Oh Shit....
That's tough break, OMR! What do you think could have caused the failure?
