yes, i am back.

been missing some of the fun.

i stopped working on bikes in the RG, and just do the cars now. had to keep something back for myself.

i've sold just about all of it. the 650, the sr500. all gone. needed the space, needed the cash. i still have the 76 and the 77.

i'm working wireguy over to donate one of his ltd frames to me so that i can put together a rider on the quick and cheap.

that might actually turn up as a project too.

then over the winter, i think i'll crank up this one again.

did you make it to the superbike weekend in topeka? i forgot the weekend that was, and totally spaced the race. heard it was a good time.

you guys get settled in the new place?

Yeah, we made the AMA races at HPT. Actually, the wife and I were on SPEED during the parts where they show the crowd. Close up of me and the wife while Brian Drebber babbled about points and what-not. I think we were "on" for like 15 seconds or something rediculously long...so, there's my 'fame' alotment, huh? :lol:

"Settled"...well, that's a difficult description. It's been a year now and I had to let stuff settle in the garage while work consumed my time. We landed 3 days before school started so the garage became the 'catch all'. This summer arrived and I was posed to finish the garage and get back into the swing of things. The economic crunch hit the university and my summer income from the school disappeared...we had been planning on finishing the garage with that money, so the garage didn't get finished. I'm almost finished with the wiring (22 new outlets, 3 outside lights, and a big box), half-way done insulating, one wall-board done. I need to finish the wiring totally, to be able to finish the insulation, to be able to finish the walls; and now school is back in session...ugh! Oh, but I got the floor painted...and the 'Clone' popped a leak out of the fuel valve and hozed the floor a bit...pealing some paint off the floor...greeeeeeat... :pinch:

Anywho, sorry to thread-jack, but STOKED that you're back in the groove. If you're in need of some more 'Streetfighter' porn to fuel your motivation let me know and I can send you some magazine sleeves and we can swap back out!

Careful what you offer!!! :lol: I'm so close I can almost taste it. The wiring is two out-door out-lets and three out-door lights away from being done. All the wiring is chased and waiting and the lights and outlets are waiting to install. I just don't know what I'm doing with wiring and I know my limits...not going to make the news, if you know what I mean: "Idiot college professor killed in freak accident...film at 11:00." :woohoo:

I'm thinking about FRP board for the walls...expensive but it looks spectacular (saw it in a bodyshop). You know anything about mounting that stuff?
