the risers are some pieces i had around. mostly from a set of kz750 top clamp. i have some from the zrx that have some pull back, but i don't think i like those as much.



more tomorrow maybe. depends on what i get done on customer work.

i'd thought there was an issue with my chain line, and i confirmed it the other day...

my 3/8ths offset countershaft sprocket is not wide enough... still need to pull some out of the sprocket carrier on the wheel.

just need to find time for that. but i might need to machine some more off of the swing arm to make that work. 8^(

oh, well. is all good.

i've been laying low. the cars have been owning me all week.

if i don't see another evo for a couple months, i will be ok. 8^)

a new customer is bringing me his new infinity g37 coupe to put some lowering springs on next week. that will be a break off of the norm for me. never worked on one before.

i'll snap some pics of the bars this weekend and post. should have some free time.

ok, guys, bad kaw plays it real low key... the man's got some hardware, and some KILLER projects. he and i need to collaborate on something. it might actually be finished if we were to both work on it. 8^)

i've snapped a couple piccies of the 650c2, and i'll start a project on that one as well. won't be much since the major work was last summer, but it'll have a v-reg replacement, and some turn signal swappage.

the oldest boy next door just dropped 600$ on ANOTHER 650c2 last week, and he's in the process of building a cool, and reliable old-school commuter.

i think that our 650 is gonna go retro. 8^)

Glad you brought it up...I was thinkin' the Z1R with the FZR running gear and the 1260 motor. Since the motor is a 'head' away, what do you think...Z, J, or the ever elusive '84 GPz1100 head? Speaking of the Z1R, I had an epiphany today about it; I've always wondered about the exhaust, but I think I've got it. Run the big Fizzer swingarm and route the exhaust thru the shock-hole (hmmm, that sounded kinda funny :blush: ) and then run one of those CBR-type of exhaust cans under the rear tail piece...then I keep the stock foot-pegs and keep the wife happy...unless the rear foot-peg brackets foul the swingarm...then forget it and I'll think of something else rediculous.
