generally speaking,
mig is colder than tig.
people typically refer to mig as being prone to crack because it didn't get enough heat in the base metal.
there have been plenty of frame brace kits migged in.

done properly any welding process will be just fine.

hey Leon.......when you say i can sew it in....u mean weld it....or is that a kind of welding technic and if it is what is the motion on the gun when welding?

i used it as a slang term sorry.
typically sewing refers to a side to side movement.


you will be performing a fillet weld for that bracket.



you can drag or push it with a little side to side or just go in a straight line .either way will provide adequate penetration and look nice.

alright.... rear passenger pegs welded. that brings the welding to an end. :)

started to assemble the bike to make sure all fits like it should.

will wire it up clean carbs and will turn it on for the first time in 14 years.

little more work done.......install old wiring harnes to make sure all wire would reach and they all did no problem.
also install side cover to make sure cover went on with out problem and it did.
more goodies came in today :)

ok...also need help locating a rear brake master that has the banjo bolt and brake light switch on top.
