The shift drum pins are clocked slightly diffrently and the holder (or front plate) of the shift drum differ in diameter. But the shift drum seem to position itself in the exact same position while shifting with the two set ups. Guess...same same but different !

Need to investigate some more... ;)

*3 hours later*

Yepp...swapped the gear shifter drum to be on the safe side.
Thanks Etbike for making me aware of this ! :silly:

Uppdate: Removing old gaskets and glasblasting the case

Spent some time removing old gaskets and glasblasting the case. It´s now getting ready for paint.

Found that somebody messed with the case and ginded inside the case. Had to reinforce with some JB weld.

Couldn't agree more Zed !

Got the case painted today. As a Swede I have to promote IKEA that sell this perfect little spray booth. Mounted the engine on a turn plate and off I went..

Nice progress! If it's your former build you have as an avatar I saw it when it was on sale on Blocket, did you get what you where asking for it? I'm also a Swede so I'll follow this thread closely!
