Have thought about the wheel hitting the pipes but have not yet figured out a fail safe sloution.
Might rise the rear a bit to get more clearense or mounting a rubber damper. Guess we have to wait and see what happens

This whole thread is like a really good book.. your sad because you got to the end and theres no more to read Im gonna watch this one extra careful. That exhaust system actually made my mouth water Can't wait to see more..

Also on one of the other pics i think i saw Clamp on handlebars and if so those should look pretty awesome.. but might you consider some older Renthal bars? I put these on my 1981 KZ1000LTD and they gave my bike the exact look i was going for. Its basically stock but they look pretty darn neat on it. Only other thing i wanted to do was make the bike sit lower because i hate the big space between the stock fender and rear tires. Very nice build though, you make me want to tear my engine down and start cleaning. I was scared of crank cases before checking this stuff out

OH YEA.. and awesome lathe and mill dude. we just got those in our shop and the lathe is my favorite tool now. Now i know what parts to make for my bike!
