HI, Gordone.
If your bike was stock and you remove the airbox you would simply fit the air jets and increase the main jet a size or two.
If the needles had been raised and the pilot increased to compensate for the pods prior to fitting the air jets then they should be put back to stock and that would be it..
With your 810 i don't know what has jetting been altered and for what reason and i also think the 24mm are on the small side for that capacity and would recommend fitting 26mm from a 900 or 1000 to get the full potential from the big bore..
Having said that, with what you have i would fit the air jets first and see how that goes, the needle probably wants to go back to stock setting also i'm sure the pilots should be 15 and not 17.5 so it looks like that has been done as mentioned previously to compensate for pods and they most likely want reducing too.
Only make one change at a time though so that you know what affect it has.
Regardless of any other changes the air jets will be doing their job and any extra fueling needed will be for the capacity increase.
I have now moved the clips to 2th posistion (see picture below), before it was at 4th posistion.
These is the only adjusment I have done... is it stupid todo it, should I leave with setup I had?
I’m feeling that is wrong also since I have installed the air jets.
My thinking was, install air jets and lower the needle and see how its perform and then take it from there....
Is these stock needle posistion?

The clip is two slots too high .
Standard position is slot 4 counting from the top and it should be returned to that.

You suggest I try to run the engine without doing any modification then or shall I go back to 15 pilot jet?

I can now repair pretty much all rubber tipped MIKUNI plungers of both 8mm and 10mm diameter heads which covers most Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha machines including CV carbs.
Hopefully this will also be of help to those running KZ and non KZ machines where these components are obsolete and no longer available new.

seems to have nice performance increase
before it was not going smoth with midle throotle (steady) and high RPM typical on highway, today it was perfect in whole RPM range and throotle range.
have not checked the plugs yet.

Hopefully this "Major coup" might bring a bit more awareness to the plunger wear issue and lead to more than a set a week or so coming my way or maybe i should end my plunger repairing career on a high
