Air corrector jets for Mikuni VM 24, 26 and 28mm round slide Mikunis.

Just got mine fitted. Easy to install and tap to specified depth. Looking forward to getting the bike back together so I can see how it runs

Don't understand it either .
Every other set has gone straight from Langley in UK to USA then to the buyer within about a week/14 days.
Been watching the tracking and they were in the Netherlands and Amsterdam which is not right.
Think they must have got put on the wrong plane or something but this is the reason I always send tracked and signed.

Mail is not for to reason why, Mine is but to wait and watch the mail lady go by. Now if you were to dress up the package like Junk Mail....

A very big Thank You to our brother Zed1015 in the UK! He's helping us bridge the gap between having the style we want, and the performance we want. I recieved my air corrector jets about a month ago in the mail. I installed them per his instructions shortly after receiving them and took my 650 out for a spin. I had previously tuned my carbs to where I could barely notice the hiccup in the beginning throttle with pods. After installing these jets, not only was all trace of the hiccup gone, but I noticed a very nice improvement on the acceleration of my bike.

Yes! All VM 24, 26ss and 28ss as fitted to all KZ900/ 1000. Z1R etc and also early Z1 28mm SC carbs and VM 4 cyl carb banks fitted to the Suzuki GS series.

Great, thanks. I'll let you know as soon as I decide if I'm staying with the K&N's or if I'm going back to the stock airbox.

Also, would you happen to have any brand names of the filters that work or don't work so well when compared to the K&N's? Seems like there are a lot out there since the patent expired.

Be wary of the cheap Emgo's etc. They can be very restrictive and flow less than the airbox.
Go for well known brands, K&N, S&B, Unifilter, APE etc.
You get what you pay for.

I just rebuilt a set of 28MM with the accelerator pump. I installed the air correctors. Not sure if your ‘78 Z1R has the pumpers or not? I have to say in the few short rides weather has permitted sense Install I can say they really help low end acceleration and the power is much more linear. And as mentioned before hats off the Zed1015 for his help and his willingness to share his expertise. Thanks Zed!!!
