Steve

I will take some, they look good the tranny looks ok except for the bearing.
BUT I don't want problems later and seeing I got the bike for free sticking a few hundred into it seems ok to me. And undercutting my Suzuki tranny made a good difference it shifts nice and easy up or down,
The H2 I have you CANNOT get it into neutral unless its rolling but that is a strange beast anyway  but it shifts really well with the undercut also.

Output shaft may be damaged, kz transmission comes apart with a few snap rings, may be cheaper and easier to buy a good used output cluster. Make sure to get a 1980 chain drive output cluster, the gear widths on earlier trans gears are slightly different.

If you get a replacement output shaft you'll want to get it taken apart and at a bare minimum get the 2/5 gears checked to make sure the slots and dogs are fine, get them back-cut if you want.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationIf it were me, I'd send in a working tranny not a damaged one. I got a low mile KZ 900 tranny, back cut it myself and it has over 20,000 miles on it now. I like this one. 17,000 miles? It's barely broken in.

I agree with Steve here, should be no problem and less expensive to find a good condition used output shaft and gears or full tranny. Looking at you video a good replacement unit should not leak where the cases are scuffed up a bit. R

I am going to contact Robinson Industries again for more advice also.
I was told they stock most parts at reasonable prices, but check check and double check is always a good idea.

Thanks for the link Swest, shipping is a bit much but its a real nice part!! AND I too love spares!!
The other trannys on the bay are mostly from one seller in appleton Wi , not to far from me but I have been disappointed with parts from them in the past, but I have also gotten good parts from them, so its a mixed bag…….

Pulled the trigger on this item today, looks like a good deal at $187.00 shipped to my door, and spare parts!
Not a lot of sales for this seller but 100% rating, Crossing my fingers. I have had great e-bay deals mostly, but have also been completely ripped off, although e-bay does a good job standing by the buyer.
I will check it according to the manual , don't really think I need undercut gears I don't plan to beat this bike like I do the others just a good rider, now lets see if I can manage to ride it like that

Thanks again Swest, extra eyes for parts is great!
