I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

I kept the number plates on the bike just to mess with the Harley rider that moved in across the street from me. You know the type, the ones that think because they ride a Harley, they are better than you. You should have seen him when I fired my GSXR up for the first time!!!
Can't wait to rattle his cage with the KZ when I fire that puppy up!!!
I made the bike with all the wiring to run lights on the street. I even have a complete charging system on the bike. When I used to road race it, I would show up at the track with my license plate still on the bike. Nobody back then believed I rode it on the street. 441 pound KZ1000 made a hell of a street bike!!!

The HD guy is mad because he broke the bank buying his new Hog and still is making payments where you have two machines that will put his "putt" to shame. :woohoo:
