Yeah...the girl really nailed the seat.
My scetch
It was a difficult job geting the hinges in the right position so the seat opens without scrathing any covers.
A lot of time spent on adjusting rubber stoppers and locking device. Most of the parts used from the old KZ1100.

Thanks Arnold. I still have them but they are VM 26s and now that I went 1075 they are not enough carb. They looked quite nice but learn from my mistakes. Soda blasting cleaned them up quite nicely. I used DuPont engine enamel and it just doesn't stick. You need to use a self etching primer to get the paint to stick. VHT has a high temp engine paint and high temp primer. On the motor I used POR15 engine paint that sticks very well without primer. I only painted them because it was to difficult to polish into all the nooks and crannies of the carbs. completely polished would look beautiful but then you have to maintain it and I don't build "trailer queens".Arnold wrote: Your right in the game there with me buddy !
