..and to see how things match up.

PS. This was before the sprocket was welded..

Did I miss something here- did you have to mod the frame at all to have the chain that far outboard? Did you post a pic with the chain alignment? I am super curious to see how you ran that chain! Great work, of course!

Only draw back with this is that you need to do a small shaft to chain conversion. :whistle:

KZ1100 shaft frame with Yamaha R1 swing arm...

I knew that- I just didn't know that the shaft drive frame was THAT much wider! That offset looks crazy in the pics.

Wow, I didn't know the frame was THAT much wider either. That's another big difference the shaft has vs. the MKII....they kind of look alike but nearly every part is different.

Just curious.....would a standard chain drive motor bolt right into a shaft frame? I always assumed it would but I don't know for sure......
