Custom Z1 Paint Scheme Sort Of

got my stencils today now I just need to get busy as my buddy told me yesterday lol
Got a Lesson on doing some graphics designing as well not a bad day

Ok so been working nonstop on the side covers seems they are giving me fits everytime I lay something out something else happens almost out of paint so this is the last coat wish me luck

Me too, good luck, cause I've almost got enough parts gathered to do another bike, instead of changing body work I may just put another one together. :evil:

Thanks man I have a huge grin right now but
I wasnt thinking so earlier loo Im just learning Its all getting better each time I do it

for Those of you that know I have been struggling with the side covers thats why their havent been allot of photos chroming the plastic first wasnt as successful as chroming the tank first
I ended up having to chase lifting paint (I KNow dont Laugh)) until I decided to start from scratch
wet sanded until I was almost down to the black and resanded no whay I was gonna dig into the
plastic of these awesome New side covers. but I have a new plan they are painted and cleared
gonna try to spot chrome them

I love this stuff!!

Seems like I spend half of my time tuned into the struggle channel in high definition, the key thing is that your learning as you go! Good luck with the spot Chrome technique, will be waiting for more pics, need some z1 porn!

Half a bottle of tequilla and 6 beers did the trick now if my hangover will subside I'll get the chroming done

did the rechroming the other day recleared and sanded the emblem area
tonight

took me 5 tries to get the stencils laid Glad he cut me plenty i
they are so tiny they didnt want to go on smoothe






Hope to get the last of the paint work done tomorrow

Then sand clear sand clear etc...

need to find a different approach for the side cover emblems not to my standards so to speak.
but I am moving forward sandding and clearing today then hopefully color sand and buff tomorrow

This project should have been done a month ago lol
