Looking closer at Dracos light, it looks like the light bulb socket itself doesn't sit flush with the inside of his housing. I'll look at mine tonite, and if mine does sit flush with the housing, we'll know why they're different. I'll post pics for comparison.

A dwarf light bulb in a married man's hand. Hmmmmmm   No scars, not blisters, clean too. You work indoors? Just joshin' with you.
Yep, I'm a govt' employee, Microfilm Operator for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
It's boring as all hell, but the pay is decent, plus i have my own office where I can sit and play on KZR all day if I want!  As for the clean scar free hands, this is my first bike, and it runs and rides well, haven't had a need to get scarred up yet.

They said "Yes, our factory is in Taiwan, so sometimes parts are shipped directly from there." It's all BS no matter what spin is put on it. At least you will be able to find bulbs for yours! I hope yours works out for you, I'm not going to insult my 750 by putting them on mine.

I agree with both of those points. I'm going to try later and see if I can modify the way the socket sits in there....A little southern engineering and some JBWeld and you could modify them to hold regular 1157's if you felt like it was worth it.....
Seems to me if he was honest he'd mention the oddball size of the lightbulb in his ad.
I also noticed that my red lenses are different. My lenses have a light diffuser right inline/over the bulb - yours appear to be completely clear red.
EDIT: I just went out and looked. The bulb socket is *molded* into the entire light housing (separate from the plate holder, of course). It would be difficult to modify it. It might be worth the $30 just to buy the good one.
ALSO I finally looked on the "mini" bulb to see what the numbers are on it: 12V 18/5W ... pathetic, no?
