Probably the same ones I got from z1partsinc. I bought the set. They have a 100% money back guarantee. Good thing. Three speedos and one Tach later, all were defective. They refunded part of my money for the Tach and the speedo seemed fine until a couple days ago. The redline on the Tach faded in the first month. It's all in the thread. Not happy with them. I'll live with the speedo until I can build my own.

Boy, I wish someone made high-quality direct-replacement gauges for these bikes. With so many other bikes using nearly-identical gauges, you'd think there'd be a market for them.

How cool would it be to have backlit LED gauges with a built-in shift light, voltmeter, etc?

I may be wrong about the ones from Z1E. I'd see what kind of warranty they offer and give the speedo a try if it is one year. The other said they got a bad batch and then said the Tach's were a bad batch too. Strange thing is there are no reviews. They asked me to review mine but I held off.

Hate to say it but I'm sending my new speedo back for a refund. I'll go back the the original plan and get a used 650 tach and speedo and switch parts. At least z1parts stands behind their sales and I can do it. I can't say that for the others.

I got an email from Z1 saying they are moving. Better contact them before doing anything.

Bruce, I bought a 650 speedo. It had been relisted and I made an offer. $15 and $6.50 shipping. It was $25. It looks like the numbers are higher than the Z1/KZ's. If so I suspect the calibration is the same and I should be able to switch the face plates. It's advertised as working well. We'll see. I thought it would be worth a shot at those prices. There's another one for $50 on up. If it works out, this might be the answer.
