Hey les,
Ive been following this thread and i really like the rear sets you came up with. How do we get to become your guinnie pig for testing these beauties? You do good mill work (coming from a younger machinist) i would love to be able to be that good one day.

Shoot me a PM and I'll let you know.
I've been machining for over 30 years and learn something new everyday! Just got to stick with and it really helps to enjoy it.

Post up some pics of your work, always great to see others in the trade who have hobbies in common!

The new rearsets are in the same location. I've since mounted rear pegs and she seems to find them comfortable as well. It feels good riding for me too.

Here are some things i made at work. The first picture is a rotory disk that holds bottles for a capping machine. The second is a pnumatic brake caliper for a brake under the rotory disk to slow it down and or stop it.

Like i said les, the stuff ive made so far isnt as.... Advanced as the thinks ive seen you make.

Not bad. B) I use to make the internal forming pin for the plastic bottle caps on your pop bottles. Being shop foreman I worked hand in hand with engineering quite often. Largest tolerance was .0002" . Everything for that company had crazy tight tolerances with their parts. That will keep you on your game!
Keep it up.

Being that I have a sidewinder pipe on my bike the brake pedal sets too low to use as it is. So, I'm making an optional pedal to fit the sidewinder pipes which should make for a nice dragrace setup, may even make an optional shift lever with air shifter hookup on it.

No. 2 is definitely my favorite! And are the passenger pegs still mounted in the original spot? The set up is very clean. I'm thinking a set of these would look real nice on my 77 kz1000 A. B) B) .

You know, out of the 5 chassis I have here I haven't mocked it up on the only one that still has original passenger peg holders, I'll do that today and see how it looks.
Thanks, I hadn't considered it.
