Would it be feasible to have the shift rod under the pedal?

I have mine going under and it's tight, rubs in a couple spots. If I could find the right donor shifter arm for the motor it may be more feasible. I have these setup now where it uses the same lever for both brake and shifter, cut down on programming and setups which helps on keeping the price reasonable.

Here's the shifter side on my bike, I used a 07/08 ZX6 shifter link modified. I've order an 84-86 gpz shifter link to try.

Okay, now the fun stuff, I want 5 people to try these for fit, finish, and overall performance with feedback. Any issues, I'll correct and make adjustments as necessary. All the bolts are 18-8 stainless.

Just to clarify, You need to use the ZX6 master cylinder. Also, I haven't tested the gpz shifter arm so I won't know if it is the correct one to suggest to use. There are many different ones that fit.
