Here's the shifter side on my bike, I used a 07/08 ZX6 shifter link modified. I've order an 84-86 gpz shifter link to try.

Okay, now the fun stuff, I want 5 people to try these for fit, finish, and overall performance with feedback. Any issues, I'll correct and make adjustments as necessary. All the bolts are 18-8 stainless.

Just to clarify, You need to use the ZX6 master cylinder. Also, I haven't tested the gpz shifter arm so I won't know if it is the correct one to suggest to use. There are many different ones that fit.

Not a big deal. You have done all the hard work. I can use all thread with ends as a temp if needed.

Hey les,
Ive been following this thread and i really like the rear sets you came up with. How do we get to become your guinnie pig for testing these beauties? You do good mill work (coming from a younger machinist) i would love to be able to be that good one day.

Shoot me a PM and I'll let you know.
I've been machining for over 30 years and learn something new everyday! Just got to stick with and it really helps to enjoy it.

Post up some pics of your work, always great to see others in the trade who have hobbies in common!
