OK, back to this project....it's been a while, I know! Actually, I'm wanting to upgrade my '78 A now instead of my MKII. I want to go with the calipers above....do you guys know if they would work OK with a stock KZ front master cylinder? I can find the correct master cylinder but then finding a matching clutch lever is a PITA.

So will a stock 79 KZ dual disc M/C work?

A dual piston caliper would be the way to go. The MC is sized to push enough fluid to move both pistons, so a bit of calculations would probably be in order.

Have a look at www.vintagebrake.com/mastercylinder.htm for some assistance doing MC/Caliper calculations. I've found it very handy, and Mike, the proprietor is a great guy to work with.

I finally bought the EBC brake rotors so I'll have to decide on calipers soon. I'm going with a gs1100 rear swingarm with a completely rebuilt, stock KZ caliper. I'd rather get some cool front calipers instead of spending the time and money rebuilding the stock ones.

Any new information since our last posts? Custom brackets for sale somewhere, etc...
