Perhaps the oem KZ900-B1 LTD fuel tank had been replaced with the larger fuel tank from a standard model KZ900 (or possibly standard model KZ1000).
Which may also explain the vacuum petcock, which appeared on the 1978 KZ1000-A2 standard model.

i like the color as a few people know on here i don't like to have 2 bikes the same color that one looks like a good color choice for one of my next paint jobs.

That's a beautiful bike you have built there man.
I specially like the rear lite set up.
I had a question. How are you holding the rear caliper? You know there is a bar that goes from the rear caliper to the front of the swingarm to hold it in place when braking.

i made a small bracket to hold the rear caliper instead of the stock arm

hey so where did u get that bracket for head light? and i also have 2000 zx1200 front end now all i need to do is to know how to mount the foot pegs and back break?

I'm doing the same at the moment how did you do it? Heat up the stem from the suzuki lower triple tree and knock it out and tap in a kawi stem? because that's what i did...

I am doing the same swing arm swap and I have the geometry for the shock linkage but do not know how to measure the angle of the swing arm or how many degrees was wondering how you did it....
