kz gsx-r swap

Like racer54 said.....a write-up would be great. They help ALOT of people, especially when it comes to spacers, bushings used, swing arm and rear axle bolts used, what had to move to make "X" fit where "y" used to be....etc etc...

Looks great. I love the new suspension set-ups on the old kz's...."sexy" might not be the "right" term, but it fits what I mean. Great job...

i will be tearing down this bike down this coming winter after it gets really cold and not riding my sleds and give a write-up on this bike with more pics. if anyone wants to know something let me know and i can write up some info on this build...anyone have a turbo set-up they want to part with...trying to decide what i want to do with this bike. bike handles great now and want to do something with engine to complete the build. i already have a built up 1075 z1... so i want to go a different set-up... any suggestions..also will be painting body myself.. i like the 73 brown orange but who knows as anything is possible...any suggestions

hey bike looks great, ive got a 92 gsxr forks do you know what to do about the stem bearings,and is the stem long enough. also what about the 92 swingarm? thanx alot

yes they are bmw clamps. i was looking around on ebay for clamps and came across those they were titled "BMW aluminum handle bar clamps risers /5, /6, R90S" i dont know anything about bmw's but those clamps work great

Suspension, I already know what your experiencing for it's sweet!. The newer suspension (front & rear) & braking systems on these old KZ's is smooth....

No high speed wobbles, follows the lines straight and in turns and with the wider tires with side gripping technologies... No need to even discuss for the theory behind it alone stands out...

And along with everyone else, Id like to ask for some detailed, "how tos" if you will, on the front and rear swaps.
My ol 74 has been sitting for too long and is crying out for these upgrades.
